Town Hall (1903). (8283 Main Street). A community hall has been on this site from the earliest years, with the current Town Hall being constructed around 1903. An iron shutter, namesake for Mokelumne Hill’s Shutter Tree Park, came from prominent Chinese merchant Chung Kee’s stone store. Surviving the fire of 1898 and exodus of the local Chinese population, Kee’s store fell into ruin by 1910. In 1984, the property that would become C.B. Hobbs Fields, was deeded to the District by the estate of C.B. Hobbs with the condition that recreational facilities be built to benefit the community.  Developed in 1986 from the town's original water storage reservoir, C.B. Hobbs Field has been the home field for numerous Little League, adult softball, and traveling teams. 

In the early 1980s, the horse arena and restrooms were constructed through a grant and volunteer labor.  In 1998, the property adjoining the horse arena was added for a parking lot.
