In 1980, Marredda land was deeded to the Mokelumne Hill Veterans Memorial District. Portions were developed into our tennis courts and horse arena, while the historic terraced Marredda homesite remains undeveloped and is continuing to be used as a community garden. Enjoy a picnic or short nature hike while exploring the century-old stone terraces. Future plans for the area are a dog park, walking trails, and parking.
